But, in an inebriated state, he mistakenly kills an innocent individual, which lands him in hell.A flashback scene reveals that Hub was furious to see his ex-wife, Maryanne, easily moving on after their split. He learns that she has entered into a new relationship with a guy named Lucky and has intentions of tying the knot with him.

As a result, Kevin was determined to find out more about Lucky’s past. Upon investigating, he discovers that he has a criminal background.Having no intention of allowing her ex-wife to spend her life with a criminal, he sets up a meeting with Lucky to discuss potential issues peacefully.

However, their conversation soon escalates into a risky confrontation. Hub insults Lucky by implying that his criminal nature will never change. He believes that confronting and settling things with Lucky is the only way to prevent his wife’s life from being ruined.

Later, Hub makes his intentions clear about killing Lucky the same night. He gets drunk and seeks Lucky. In an unexpected turn of events, he mistakes a bartender, Sheryl, for Lucky, who was wearing his hat.

Without checking properly, Hub does the unthinkable—he shoots Sheryl mistakenly.Sheryl dies immediately. Hub is guilty of his actions but doesn’t attempt to do the right thing.
