The SEC Player of the Year has a curious message behind his ear.

Auburn 's Johni Broome has put together an exceptional 2024-25 campaign. The forward averaged 18.7 points, 10.

9 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 51 percent from the floor. He was a consensus first-team All-American, SEC Player of the Year and will soon be an NBA draft pick .

So if there's one thing you can say as the Tigers compete in the 2025 Final Four, it's that Broome is not a loser. It just so happens, however, he has that label tattooed behind his ear. And many fans noticed it during March Madness.

A crucial point here is that the 'S' in loser has been covered up by a red 'V' so that it reads 'Lover', which was popularized in the 2017 film version of Stephen King's It . We'd love to know more about Broome's inspiration behind the tattoo, but the message surely speaks for itself here, too. If Auburn ends up cutting down the nets on Monday, he should at least balance it out with a "Winner" tattoo behind his other ear.
