Their fight to become the next Queen or King of the Jungle came to an end in the first double elimination of the series. However, a second double elimination took place this evening (December 6), following Coleen Rooney and Rev Richards Coles' drinking trial. In the end, the pair won six out of six stars for camp, meaning the celebrities will be eating well for their next meal.
On Friday, Ant and Dec announced Alan Halsall and GK Barry were the next campmates to leave I'm a Celebrity, just missing out on the chance to take part in the legendary Celebrity Cyclone. During Maura's exit interview with the Geordie duo last night, she said: "It was hard being away from mammy. The one thing I really wanted to do was face my fears, and it was one of those shows that I always wanted to do at some point of my life, and I just never knew when would be the right time, and this year was right.
"I’m so glad I’ve done it now, because the campmates and everyone just together, we just had such a family. "And I faced my fear of spiders, and I hate every type of bug, but spiders, I don’t know how I did it, I really don’t. Maura’s saying goodbye to huntsman spiders and hello to freshly washed hair and bacon sarnies! 🫧 🥪 "But I swore to myself before going in there, I will not say ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’, and I’m so glad those words did not come out of my mouth.
