He starred in ER over 15 years ago. An ER reboot had been on the cards, but it didn’t work out as Warner Bros couldn’t come to an agreement with Sherri over it. “We pivoted as far in the opposite direction as we could in order to tell the story we wanted to tell,” Wyle told Variety.
