Australia have added uncapped all-rounder Beau Webster to their 14-member squad for the second Test against India in Adelaide. Webster, 30, is the cover for the injured Mitch Marsh. Uncapped Tasmanian allrounder Beau Webster was included in the 14-member squad as the back-up for Mitch Marsh , who pulled up sore during the Perth Test , which the hosts lost by 295 runs.

Webster's inclusion in the squad is a testament to his remarkable form and versatility in domestic cricket. His contributions this summer include 448 runs at an impressive average of 56 and 16 wickets. Webster's seam-bowling prowess, a skill he added to his repertoire just four years ago, has been a key factor in his rise. Complemented by occasional off-spin, his bowling versatility provides Australia with a middle-order option capable of chipping in with overs.
