Who follows the carnivore diet in New Zealand?

THREE KEY FACTS: The carnivore diet is a restrictive high-protein diet where an individual consumes only animal products like meat, eggs, and dairy while avoiding fruits, nuts, vegetables and other foods. The diet is not recommended by health professionals due to its high levels of sodium and saturated fat and the absence of dietary fibre and essential vitamins. Eating large amounts of red meat long-term has been linked to an increased risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers.
