Whitehorse, meet your municipal candidates

We spoke to every candidate running for mayor and council in Whitehorse. Here's what they had to say.

Election day has arrived in Whitehorse. On Thursday, Oct. 17, Whitehorse residents will cast their ballots for the next mayor and city council.

Whitehorse residents can vote from 8 a.m. to 8 p.



m. the Canada Games Centre, the Sternwheeler Hotel, St. Francis of Assisi Secondary School, Porter Creek Secondary School and at École Émilie-Tremblay.

Those voting via special ballot must drop off their ballots at City Hall by 2 p.m. There will also be mobile polls throughout the day for staff, patients and residents at Copper Ridge Place, Whistle Bend Place, Thomson Centre and Whitehorse General Hospital.
