The National Football League chose to have "Lift Every Voice and Sing," otherwise known as the Black National Anthem, played before kickoff at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Thursday evening. Not everyone was happy about that, though.
Some NFL fans took to social media to threaten to "boycott" the National Football League over the decision. The NFL has been spotlighting the Black national anthem at games since 2020. "Boycott the NFL," one fan said.
