Jennifer Coolidge, 63, said she dated 'a really handsome Swedish guy' when she was younger and he apparently tried to reconnect with her on social media after she gave an interview

An ex-boyfriend of Jennifer Coolidge has appeared to try to get in touch with the White Lotus star after she encouraged him to reach out when she learned he was "successful." The Hollywood star, 63, made the revelation while speaking to a reporter during a junket for her new project, A Minecraft Movie. She told MovieZine, "I dated a really handsome Swedish guy, in my youth.

" When asked for his name, she said it was Rafael Edholm, a Swedish actor, and the interviewer replied saying he is "famous" in the Nordic country. "He is? Why didn't I stick with him? He is now, I didn't know that..

. Oh my god, can you get a message to him?" Jennifer appeared to jokingly tell the Swedish showbiz website . "Rafael, I didn't know you were going to be successful but, anyway, if you want to know where I live.

.. After this, I'll give you my phone number.

" And Rafael himself appeared to post a video on his Instagram account, referencing the moment on Saturday. It said, "Hey Jennifer, this is your Swedish famous ex, where the hell are ya? Come and visit Sweden, it's the most beautiful place in the world." The video ended saying "see ya soon.

" Rafael has been reportedly married to actress and model Freja Edholm Borchies since 2015. He has appeared in hit Swedish film The One And Only and crime series Wallander as well as creating web series Veni Vidi Vici, which is available on AppleTV+. Jennifer has risen to greater prominence in recent years after being known for small parts as Stifler's mum in American Pie, and Legally Blonde as a beautician.

She won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for playing heiress Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus, a HBO series about holiday makers at a luxury hotel resort. A moment on the dark comedy series became a viral meme, after she tried to save herself on board a ship, shouting "these gays are trying to murder me." She will next be seen in A Minecraft Movie, based on the game of the same name, with Jason Momoa and Jack Black, and crime comedy Riff Raff with Pete Davidson, Ed Harris and Bill Murray.

Last month, Jennifer revealed that not being brought back to Season 3 of The White Lotus really "bummed" her out. Her standout performance as the rich heiress Tanya McQuiod in the series earned her Outstanding Supporting Actress Primetime Emmys in 2022 and 2023, but her character met her demise at the end of Season 2 when she drowned after marrying Gary Hunt (Jon Gries), becoming Tanya McQuoid-Hunt. During a recent interview via Zoom to discuss her latest movie, Riff Raff, which premiered on digital streaming services on Friday, Jennifer opened up about Tanya.

While Jennifer understood why Tanya would no longer be in The White Lotus, she still missed being a part of the series surrounding the guests at the fictional luxury resort. "I'm bummed. I'm bummed just because this season is phenomenal and you never want The White Lotus train to end," Jennifer shared, adding, "I guess when they kill you, it ends.
