When it comes to Christmas romcoms, there is no shortage of great picks to choose from - however, Nancy Meyers’s The Holiday holds a special place in many people's hearts. The 2006 film – which stars Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet as singletons who swap houses over the festive season and enter into new, surprising romances – has become a modern Christmas classic, alongside Love Actually . There were reports in 2022 that the cast, including Jude Law and Jack Black, would be revisiting their characters' romances in a sequel, but Meyers was quick to shut these rumours down.
