And breathe. Andy Robertson won't score many more important goals than that as he earned Scotland a dramatic 2-1 win against Poland in Warsaw. John McGinn followed up his Croatia cracker with a fine opener with both Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay smacking the woodwork in a bright first half.

Kamil Piatkowski equalised for Poland as the hour approached with Steve Clarke's men looking destined for the bottom of the group. But the Liverpool full-back spared the blushes and sent the Tartan Army wild despite his nation narrowly missing out on second place as Croatia drew 1-1 at home to Portugal. However, the last-gasp victory in Warsaw boosted the Dark Blues' chances of edging their way into pot two of next month's World Cup qualifying draw.

Scotland are relying on Georgia or Estonia to grab a result away to Czechia and Slovakia respectively on Tuesday evening. But Scotland's last three results have given them a play-off to look forward to, to retain their League A status. So, when will the play-off draw take place and who could Scotland face? The Nations League play-off draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday, November 22.

The ceremony starts at 11am. The draw will be broadcast live on UEFA's official website, YouTube channel and app. It will not be on live TV.

Scotland could face one of four teams who finished second in their Nations League B groups, meaning Greece and Austria are confirmed as possible opponents. The final fixtures take place on Tuesday night which will settle the draw line-up. The runners up of Turkey, Wales or Iceland and Czech Republic, Georgia, Albania or Ukraine have still to be finalised.

The two-legged promotion/relegation fixtures will be played on Thursday March 20 and Sunday March 23, 2025. The second leg will take place at Hampden..
