After 13 weeks of intense competition, Strictly Come Dancing is drawing to a close. Following the departure of Pete Wicks and Jowita Przysta in the semi-final, the finalists are Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, and Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell. On Saturday night (December 14), these four final pairs will perform three routines each in an attempt to win over the BBC audience.
Although judges Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas will continue to score the dances, their scores serve as guidance only, with the ultimate decision resting with the public. Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to the ballroom to preside over the grand finale, where one couple will be awarded the coveted Glitterball Trophy. So when is the Strictly Come Dancing final? The final of the 2024 series will kick off on Saturday, December 14.
Unlike most weekends, there is no results show on Sunday, December 15, with the winner being announced after the public vote on Saturday night. The final will be available to watch from 6pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer and will run for two hours and 35 minutes. The series will end at 8.
