The messaging says when you create a new Status, you will see a music note at the top of your screen.
You can tap on it to see a wide range of songs/tracks available to be added to your Status. WhatsApp will let you choose a short clip of the track which ranges from 15 seconds for a photo update to 60 seconds if you are adding a video to your Status. The messaging app assures that like most of its features your Status is end-to-end encrypted so WhatsApp can’t see what you share, and we don’t know which songs you add to your Status.
