4 billion interactions on Black Friday alone, a 26% increase from 2023, with 1.8 billion stemming from messaging interactions, up from 1.7 billion last year.
The Retail & eCommerce and Finance sectors accounted for 42% and 36% growth in interactions, respectively. Infobip’s Chief Business Officer, Ivan Ostojić, highlighted the rise of Rich Communication Services (RCS) as shoppers increasingly seek personalized and conversational experiences. He noted that Black Friday sales extended throughout November, with interactions surging as brands catered to cost-conscious consumers.
