SUNDAY UW Symphonic Band and Laramie High School Band combined concert: 3 p.m., at University of Wyoming Buchanan Center for Performing Arts concert hall.

The Laramie High School Band, conducted by Brian Redmond, will perform “El Relicario” by Jose Padilla (arr. Robert Longfield), “Salvation is Created” by Pavel Tschesnokoff (arr. Bruce Houseknecht), and “Instant Concert” by Harold Walters.



UW Symphonic Band Percussion Ensemble will perform “Stained Glass” by David Gillingham. UW Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. Matthew Schlomer, will perform “Prelude and Fugue” by J.

Bach/Moehlman (Malori Barnhart, guest conductor), “Acrostic Song” by David Del Tredici, “Arabesque” by Samuel Hazo (Brian Redmond, guest conductor), the world premiere of “Beyond Your Years” by Maddie Stephenson, and “Chamak” by Reena Esmail, featuring Colorado-based classical tabla virtuoso Nabin Shrestha.
