BENNINGTON — The Bennington Select Board invites the public to join us at the Monday, April 14, 2025 meeting at 6:00 pm at the Bennington Fire Facility. The full agenda and packet for the meeting can be accessed in paper form at the Bennington Free Library and online at The public is encouraged to share information that is useful to all during the public comment period. These include items not on the agenda such as upcoming events, concerns, and compliments.

Anyone wishing to speak (3 minute maximum) can sign up at the meeting. Community members are also encouraged to come to meetings to listen, learn and stay up to date on what the Select Board is working on. New board members are joining for the first time at this meeting and the first order of business will be for the board to elect a chair and vice chair, Police Chief and Director of Public Safety Paul Doucette will bring the Board and public up to date on steps being taken to complete the Local Emergency Management Plan.



The Town Manager will share plans to extend municipal water service where PFAS has been detected in ground water. This is the time each year that the Board will seek candidates to fill open seats on various Town boards and commissions. We encourage Bennington residents to attend this meeting to learn more about how they can get involved.
