Before anything, double-check the details of your flight to determine which terminal you'll be taking off from. The early bird catches the wormIt's always better to arrive earlier than expected.
There's no harm in being at the airport hours before your flight. Ideally, be at the airport at least three hours before departure for domestic flights and four for international. For a faster queue experience, you can check in online.
Some airlines like Cebu Pacific offer check-in as early as 48 hours before your flight through their website or mobile app. Prepare all necessary forms beforehandTo enter the airport, you need to show a copy of your ticket and a valid ID. For international travel, ensure you've filled up the eTravel form and paid your travel tax.
You might also have to show some necessary documents when going through immigration. It's handy to always have a printed copy of your itinerary when you are being questioned. Pack light and know what's prohibitedPassengers are allowed up to two hand-carry baggage, one that can fit in the overhead bin and the other to be placed under the seat in front of you.
They must have a combined weight of seven kilograms or less. If you need more, airlines like Cebu Pacific offer an enhanced baggage policy that allows passengers to avail up to three pieces of 20kg baggage. For every piece of baggage purchased, passengers may also add an extra 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg weight allowance on top of the initial 20kg.
