Parts of Norfolk will see temperatures soar this month as the county welcomes spring. Norwich was blessed with temperatures similar to those experienced on the Mediterranean island of Malta last Friday. And the city will continue to experience those warm conditions this week with the thermometer forecast to reach 20C on Friday and Saturday.

Great Yarmouth could bear the brunt of some wet and windy conditions, however, with rain expected to be more of a fixture in the town during April. In the west of the county, King's Lynn will be slightly cooler with average temperatures of around 13C to 15C. Cromer will be slightly cooler than the rest of the county (Image: Newsquest) Cromer is set to be one of the cooler spots in Norfolk with temperatures ranging from 10C to 14C throughout April which is similar to the average of 11C for this time of the year. The Met Office has said that long spells of high pressure are to be expected in the first two weeks of April.
It does, however, claim that spells of rain are to be expected towards the end of April with temperatures across the country in the second half of the month to remain at the average level for this time of year..
