The White Lotus ’s behind-the-scenes drama took a direct flight from Thailand to the internet, and Jason Isaacs has a boarding pass. As the third season of HBO’s hit show was airing, the head of the fictional Ratliff family teased some real-life drama off camera. He’s spilling tea smoothie.
The specifics are still unclear, but that doesn’t stop the speculation. So ..
. what do we know? Below, everything from Isaacs’s comments to the (potential) drama between Aimee Lou Wood and her onscreen lover, Walton Goggins . In a March 30 interview with Vulture , Isaacs described the show’s on-set dynamic as “a cross between summer camp and Lord of the Flies but in a gilded cage .

I’m not going to break ranks and say who did what to whom, but it certainly wasn’t a holiday.” Given that we now know some drama happened, people online are theorizing one epicenter might have been the relationship between Aimee Lou Wood and her onscreen love interest, Walton Goggins. At least that’s what Reddit thinks anyway.

” Redditors, meanwhile, claim Wood and Goggins unfollowed each other on Instagram — which is always perceived as a big deal, just ask the Biebers . Plus, her comments are gone from his Instagram, while his still appear on hers, which people think indicates that he blocked her. Could be drama, could just be Instagram.
After all, Wood may not follow him, but she still follows the account for Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses. Goggins has kept it entirely positive. In an oral history with The Hollywood Reporter , Goggins talked about feeling disconnected from the cast and finding a friend in Wood.
“At times, I felt misunderstood, like I was a fucking downer for everyone else,” he said. “I was just consumed by the story ..

But Aimee and I became very close, very quickly, and a part of that was because when everyone else was like, ‘Oh, just leave that guy alone,’ Aimee constantly came and poked me.” If anything did happen between Goggins and Wood (the primary source of which is Instagram), it probably wouldn’t be what Isaacs is referring to.
Reminder: His comments relate to drama during filming, and the unfollowing occurred while the show was airing. So we may never know what actually went down in Thailand. Maybe Sam Nivola and Leslie Bibb were in a secret blood feud.
