The law requires resellers to reveal the entire ticket price, including any fees, surcharges, and other components, so that it "must not be false or misleading" in order to prevent interest buyers from being misled by complicated ticket resale prices. Secondary websites frequently only display the fees at the time of check-out, which greatly raises the overall cost. The law forbids resellers in the state from offering or selling multiple copies of a ticket, among other consumer protection measures.
