Prophet Samson Ayorinde, Founder and General Overseer of World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC), in his usual New Year prophecies, has revealed what God told him about Nigeria and the world regarding 2025. His prophecies covered economy, politics, scientific / technical breakthroughs, weather and security. He also spoke on programmes of WEBIC this New Year.
On Nigeria, he said: “Our economy will witness an increase this year as a result of the government’s restructuring programme. The Naira will stabilise this year but we need prayers to thwart efforts of the cabals who are benefitting from a weakened currency. They will do everything to frustrate efforts to reduce inflation.
“Nigeria will be a strong member of BRICS (economic group of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), an organisation that seeks to counter the dominance of Western world in global economy. Becoming a strong member of BRICS would boost Nigerian economy.” Speaking on politics, the prophet said: “Nigeria will witness some first term governors dumping parties that brought them to power as we approach 2027 elections year.
It is most likely President Bola Tinubu would retain power in 2027, but we must pray for his health. “A lot of regrouping of political associations will take place this year, but expect some betrayals among politicians as a result of personal agenda. In all, God will be glorified so that peace shall continue to reign in the country,” he said.
According to Ayorinde, more investors would come in as a result of a peaceful political climate. The cleric warned the federal and state governments to be prepared for inclement weather this year, noting that there would be massive flooding brought about by climate change. “No fewer than five states would be devastated by the floods but with prayers, the damage would be minimal,” he stated.
On security, Ayorinde said: “Our military will degrade the activities of terrorists this year. Farmers would benefit from improved security with more agricultural products and reduction in inflation of food prices in the country. “On the world stage, we will witness fire outbreaks this year as a result of global warming.
Also, natural disasters such as earthquake will occur in areas thought to be safe. With prayers, God will intervene and reduce fatalities. The world will witness increased temperature of 1.
6 per cent this year. This will cause floods in many countries. “There will be uprisings in Asian countries this year but they will be curtailed.
Wars that had been on in some countries will end this year. World billionaires influencing politics will disappear. There will be peaceful political atmosphere.
” According to him, even though there had been outbreak of flu in some countries, this would not lead to pandemic such as COVID. He also spoke on science and technology. “There would be a breakthrough from Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Scientists are going to close the gap in the area of mobile communications. There will be an invention this year but it will not be perfected until three years from now” , he said. On his church, Ayorinde spoke on activities lined up this year.
First is the completion of the over N2 billion new auditorium which he said is 75 per cent completed now. The edifice, he noted, can seat well over 2000 worshippers at a service. “We will complete the new auditorium which will host WEBIC’s 30th anniversary in November this year.
We believe God will touch the hearts of philanthropists to donate instruments such as solar generating equipment and air conditioners. Activities lined up this year include our 30th Mantle in November, and ordination of our ministers who had gone through WEBIC Bible College. It had been more than a decade we ordained our ministers.
“Special programmes include the youths with Awamaridi and I worship which are basically Praise and Worship events. Women’s Achievers Congress will hold in July. It involves all branches worldwide.
“Also of note is our Crusade on the Radio Programme,” Ayorinde said On spiritual renewal of WEBIC members, Ayorinde said the mission mandates compulsory prayer and fasting every January and July every year. Individuals who prefer dry fasting, will, for the duration of the exercise, take only water, he said. “Fasting and prayers is good for the purification of their souls and it prepares for work in the ministry.
Those opting for dry fasting must ensure their health can sustain it,” he said. Still on spiritual growth, he said WEBIC ministers and workers must go for a retreat at least once yearly. Resource persons, he stated, are drawn from within.
“This year, the retreat which will hold in February mandates participants to converge on the headquarters for one day,” the General Overseer noted..
