The Kansas City Chiefs will look to continue their dominance in 2024 with a win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Although the Chiefs are undefeated, they have struggled with injuries throughout the season. Those struggles continued in the week leading up to the game, as Kansas City placed starting kicker Harrison Butker on injured reserve with a knee injury.

"We brought in Spencer Shrader to come in and do the kicking," Reid said.
"He's a young guy, so his resume isn't long, but the ones he's had, he's done a nice job with. Veach felt comfortable with that, along with Dave Toub. So we invite him in, and he can do the kicking going forward here, until (Butker) is able to return.
He's got a very strong leg, and he's done well. They used him and elevated him at the Jets, they had a couple kickers there and obviously they favored him." In two career appearances, Shrader is three-for-three on extra point attempts and two-for-two on field goal attempts.
Shrader started for the New York Jets in Week 10 with starter Greg Zuerlein on injured reserve, but since he was still on the team's practice squad, the Chiefs were able to pick him up. Related: Chiefs Coach Gives Take on Worthy After Rookie Struggles.
