The Cave by Kevin Barry is “an unforgettable black comedy” and is opening this June.The description for the play read: “Sleeping rough in a cave and in trouble with the law, Archie and Bopper are running out of road. “This desperate pair have only each other to rely on as they try to restart their van, their lives and their WiFi connection.
”The funny man will star as Archie, while The Banshees of Inisherin star Aaron Monaghan will play Bopper.And Derry Girls actress Judith Roddy will also star as Helen.This 55-year-old isn’t new to acting, with previous credits including Derry Girls, Conversations With Friends and Wolfwalkers.
The highly anticipated production will run on the Abbey Stage from 6 June to 18 July 2025.Ticket prices range from €15 and €55 and are available here.When the Abbey made the announcement, friends and fans of the RTE star raced to the comment section.
