‘What a guy’ say fans at Grado brings back iconic character at Scottish Grand National

SCOTS comedy legend Grado had fans in stitches as he brought back an iconic character while hosting the Scottish Grand National. The wrestling star , 36, swapped his spandex for a dapper white suit as he was called in to work the popular race event at Ayr racecourse. 4 He brought back his iconic Scot Squad character PC Hugh McKirdy Credit: BBC Scotland 4 Grado brought the iconic traffic cop back to life as he interviewed Inspector Ian McCall Credit: Ayr Racecourse 4 He even borrowed the officer's hat Credit: Ayr Racecourse The Two Doors Down favourite, whose real name is Graeme Stevely, spent the day wandering around interviewing the various people who had put on their glad rags for a day at the races.

But with one interviewee, he couldn't help but hark back to one of his most popular personas. Grado stopped for a chat with Police Scotland Inspector Ian McCall, who was working the event. And who better to conduct the interview than PC Hugh McKirdy.

" Grado ended the joke and asked wished the officer well for the rest of his duty. He said: "Aye that's right, so I did. Brilliant, all the best mate, thanks very much and thanks for keeping us safe.

" And fans were in hysterics over the clip, which has been viewed over 230,000 times. One said: "Love this, what a guy."
