WH Smith is set to close 15 stores across the UK in the coming months. Two sites, in Bournemouth and Luton, closed on Saturday (January 18) while more sites are set to shut for good between now and the end of May, according to The Sun. Closing down signs stating "everything must go" have already begun appearing on affected WH Smith stores.
UK high street shops that no longer exist The next closure will take place as soon as Saturday (January 25) while other sites won't be shut down until May. A spokesperson said the decision to close these sites came as it was "no longer sustainable to continue to trade" from these locations. In a statement, the WH Smith spokesperson added the company was "disappointed" to be losing these stores and thanked customers and staff.
