'We've been blown away' by school's Easter generosity

A local school has brightened the Easter season for the Bolton community through a heart-warming act of generosity.

Pupils and families have brightened Bolton's Easter season through a heart-warming act of generosity. Parents, teachers and pupils at Bolton School have come together to donate nearly 300 Easter Eggs in support of Homeless Aid UK’s annual Easter Appeal. The initiative aims to bring cheer among homeless families, vulnerable individuals and residents facing poverty and isolation across Bolton.

An incredibly generous donation was gathered (Image: Public) The chocolate eggs will be distributed to individuals across Bolton in need, including the elderly, disadvantaged children, and the homeless, Billa Ahmed, co-founder of Homeless Aid UK, expressed his gratitude for the generosity of Bolton School’s donation. He said: “These eggs won’t just bring smiles – they’ll bring hope.



“It’s not just about chocolate eggs; it’s about showing love, compassion, and unity with those who need it most.” Mr Ahmed said: “Its moments like these that show the power of community . It’s about teaching our children the true value of giving, not just taking.

” While Bolton School’s generous donation has played a vital role in the appeal, Homeless Aid UK has also purchased additional eggs to ensure that no one misses out on the holiday celebrations. Many Bolton residents have joined in, dropping off Easter eggs to help ensure the success of the appeal and help those in need.
