The £6.49 chicken bites are listed as "temporarily unavailable" on menus at Wetherspoons pubs across the UK, according to The Express. The Wetherspoon staple features 10 crispy chicken bites, chips and an array of sauces.
One fan posted on the Reddit group r/Wetherspoons recently, asking: "Where have the Chicken breast bites gone?! "They’ve disappeared from my local spoons menu, not greyed out like they would if out of stock, completely removed in all forms." A Wetherspoon spokesperson, via The Express , said: “We can confirm that they (chicken bites) are currently not available on the menu in our pubs". The reason for the dish's removal from the menu has not been revealed.
However, customers have been speculating about why Wetherspoon's chicken bites are currently unavailable. One person, posting on Reddit, said: "The supplier has recalled them all for investigation and head office took them of the till and app themselves to make sure there was no pubs accidently selling them."
