American fast food chain Wendy's has confirmed it will open its first Scottish restaurant in Glasgow. The burger giant confirmed today that it will open its 50th UK spot in the coming months. We previously reported that a proposal was submitted for the firm to take over the unit at 139 Sauchiehall Street .
It will be part of five new locations, alongside Blackpool, Grays (Lakeside), Watford and York in the coming months, creating over 150 jobs.
