The Met Office has released an update in the three-day weather warning in Suffolk as it now covers just strong winds. On Wednesday, the Met Office released a yellow weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain to take place between 3pm on Friday and 6am on Sunday. The yellow warning is now only for strong winds - which are associated with Storm Darragh - and are likely to cause some disruption.
Parts of the county could see winds of up to 45mph over the next few days. The Met Office has said this could cause damage to buildings and can cause power cuts and other services like mobile phone coverage. It is also likely that drivers will face delays as some roads and bridges will be closed with impacts of falling trees.
Also there is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris or from large waves and beach material being thrown into sea fronts, coastal roads and properties. It is advised to be prepared and to protect your property and people from injury by checking for loose items and securing them..
