Watercrest Myrtle Beach Provides Hurricane Relief to North Carolina Residents

VERO BEACH, Fla. , Nov. 19, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- In the wake of devastation after Hurricane Helene, the residents and associates of Watercrest Myrtle Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care united to provide relief to the people of Boone, North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Watercrest Myrtle Beach Community Relations Director, Ingrid Robertson and Lifestyle Director and Nurse Pam McMahon spearheaded the effort with a call for donations from their community. The response was overwhelming as donations poured in from Watercrest residents and associates, citizens of Myrtle Beach , and even Pam's high-school friends far and wide. The donations filled the 14-passenger Watercrest bus wall to wall and were skillfully packed to ensure driving safety to the areas of devastation in North Carolina .
