Watch: ‘Wolverine’ Hugh Jackman Skips Rope To ‘Bye Bye Bye’ During Concert; Calls Ryan Reynolds His Fifth Best Friend

Australian actor Hugh Jackman (56) made his concert series From New York at Radio City Music Hall in the US, his first in five years. During his two-hour set list, the Wolverine actor delighted the fans by skipping rope to the pop track NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye. The dance ensued cheers from the crowd as the actor swayed to the melody, mimicking his best pal Ryan Reynolds Marvel character Deadpool’s dance to the titular track in the 2024 blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine.

The movie featured two of the most popular Marvel characters in the MCU. The banter between the duo as best buddies made for a few crackling promos and marketing material. Meanwhile, the Deadpool actor showed up at his mate’s concert on the opening night and made the audience crack up with his trademark humor.



Reynolds also reflected on working with Jackman in the X-Men series movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine some 16 years ago. He remarked, ““I was young, impressionable, and unsure of what to expect. What I found was a true movie star—a capital ‘M’ movie star.

” He further added that Hugh Jackman is “the best human I know.” Reacting to Reynold’s impromptu appearance and speech, Jackman dubbed him “fifth best friend.” Fans can’t wait to see the longtime friends recreate the Deadpool Wolverine magic anytime on screen in the upcoming Avengers series of movies (hopefully).
