Joey Essex has flirted up a storm live on TV in toe-curling scenes in America. The TOWIE star, 34, has hopped across the pond to Los Angeles to make a new life for himself after splitting up with Love Island 's Jessy Potts. Joey, who has now joined celebrity dating app, Raya, wasted no time in turning on the charm when he popped up on KTLA TV to chat about his future plans.

The host of the show, Jasmine Simpkins, introduced Joey as being “known for his charm" as the reality star purred: “My name is Joey Essex, what are you saying?” before telling the panel how beautiful they looked. The women, seemingly swayed by the Essex accent, then told Joey he should 'probably take off his cardigan' as he sat with it half on, half off for the remainder of the interview. As Jasmine stroked said cardigan, Joey cheekily responded: “You like that one, yeah?”Adding that he was “perfect husband material,” Joey went on: “I clean my own house, my own clothes, my own dishes.

” Opening up about his life after Love Island, he complained that the UK is “hectic” due to the amount of people wanting to stop and take selfies with him, before revealing that he’s looking for a home in LA. Telling the women he was keeping his romantic options open, Joey said he’s still on the lookout for love, despite his recent split from Jessy. The former couple announced they had split in September, with Joey insisting he wishes Jessy "the very best with whatever she does in the future".

Jessy, meanwhile, said: "I appreciate the Love Island experience I had with Joey, we tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be. "I’m so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead." Just a few days ago, the model, 25, was quizzed on potential regrets after meeting her ex on Love Island - in red-faced scenes, which saw her "steal" him away from his ex Grace Jackson.

One fan asked: "Was going on Love Island worth it in your opinion?" She was quick to respond: "Absolutely! It was the best thing I've ever done, without a doubt. I had so much fun doing it, have been given incredible opportunities since leaving the villa and despite it not working on the outside, I did meet someone I liked and had the best summer ever with an amazing group of people."
