Stuart Vevers marked his tenth anniversary at Coach with the fall/winter 2024 collection, a milestone underscored by a fresh creative direction. Over the past decade, the British designer has redefined the brand, connecting with a younger, more eco-conscious audience through initiatives like the Coachtopia line. The collection embraced a genderless approach, showcasing oversized silhouettes, including coats, denim, aviator jackets, and a mix of leather and shearling, often adorned with fringe detailing.
Despite this shift in vision, the brand’s American heritage remained a prominent influence. Eveningwear came alive with shades of pink and lilac, while ’90s nostalgia ran through the collection in the form of taffeta gowns and deconstructed designs. In the lead-up to this year’s show, teasers hint at a celebration of classic American casual style, drawing on the laid-back aesthetics of skate culture and graffiti.
