At the time, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had said that Pant suffered two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and other injuries. "He is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. The police confirmed that Pant was driving alone when the accident occurred," the BCCI had said.
