: Acting on a tip off, Police seized 88kg of silver bricks and hard cash from a car going from Berhampur to Kolkata on National Highway 16 near the Gurupalli tollgate near Khallikote in Ganjam district on Friday. To evade Goods and services tax two miscreants were carrying the huge quantity of silver bricks and cash money by road. Police has also detained the two miscreants in this regard.

According to reports, the estimated value of the silver bricks is Rs 32 lakh. Along with the silver bricks, hard cash of Rs 5,46,600 was also seized. Police has detained two miscreants in this regard.
