Listen to Story England seamer Ollie Robinson had a forgettable day with the ball as he ended up leaking 43 runs in one over during County Championship Division two game between Sussex and Leicestershire on Wednesday, June 26 at County Ground, Hove. Representing Sussex in the match, Robinson came on to bowl the 59 th over of Leicestershire’s second innings having figures of 1/22 in 12 overs against his name. However, his brilliant bowling spell turned into a nightmare in no time as Leicestershire’s Louis Kimber managed to get 43 runs off his over.

The right-handed batter began the over by pulling him for a six on the first ball. He later pulled his second short delivery for another maximum and much to Robinson’s dismay, he ended up overstepping. The right-arm seamer continued to bowl short at Kimber who made room for himself on the third ball and cut it towards third man for a four.

The fourth delivery which was another short one, was dispatched into the stands for another maximum. The fifth delivery was once again pulled for four and Robinson didn’t learn his lesson of not bowling short. Robinson once again overstepped on the sixth ball which was thrashed for the fourth maximum of the over which also helped Kimber complete his hundred off 62 balls.

The 27-year-old was in no mood to stop as he pulled another short delivery towards long-on for a boundary. Robinson finally bowled a full delivery but it didn’t make much of a difference with Kimber smashing him over dee.
