" Kavita Kaushik made her acting debut in Ektaa Kapoor’s show Kutumb. However, her appearance in the comedy-drama series FIR made her a household name. Apart from Kavita, the cast included Gopi Bhalla as Gopinath Gandotra, Aamir Ali as Chief Inspector Bajrang Pandey, Kiku Sharda as Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule, and others, making the show unforgettable with their comedic performances.
FIR began on SAB TV in 2006 and rapidly became one of the most popular shows. Shashank Bali directed the play, which is still remembered by fans for its winning performances and interesting storyline. Earlier, speaking to Times Now, Kavita shared that she has consciously stepped away from television shows.
She noted “TV toh mujhe karna hi nahin hai (I am not interested in working in the TV industry at all). I can’t do 30 days of work. I am open to doing web shows or movies but I am not a typical-looking heroine who can easily get cast in all kinds of shoots.
