Jaya Bachchan, known for her fiery temper, stirred controversy at Manoj Kumar’s prayer meet on Sunday (6 April 2025). The veteran actress visibly lost her cool when an elderly fan requested a photo. A video circulating widely on social media captures the incident, showing Jaya engaged in conversation with a group of women.
Suddenly, an elderly woman taps her shoulder, catching her off guard. As Jaya turns around, a man, presumably with the elderly woman, attempts to snap a picture with his phone. When the woman reaches out for a handshake, Jaya brushes her hand away and reprimands the man for taking photos at such a solemn event.
The outburst has sparked a divided response online: some have slammed Jaya’s reaction as discourteous, while others defended her, arguing that a prayer meet was hardly the place for photo requests.
