PAIGE VANZANT starred on her Power Slap debut as she floored her opponent twice. The former UFC fighter earned her first combat sports win since 2019 . VanZant, 30, scored two knockdowns before her winning slap against Christine Wolmarans on Friday.

She knocked her rival down with her second and third slaps during the three-round clash at Power Slap 8. Wolmarans managed to keep going and was able to reply with her own attempts. However, VanZant was able to withstand the slaps as she barely seemed to get hurt.



This was even the case for Wolmarans' fourth slap which she was allowed after VanZant flinched in the third round. At the end of the clash, VanZant was named the winner as all three judges scored the match 30-25 to her. After the bout, VanZant insisted that she was happy with her debut.
