twitter.com/hxbomWBnWa Nix, 24, seems to be finding his groove. Over his past three games , the Oregon product has completed 69% of his passes for five TDs and one interception.

On Thursday, he earned NFL Rookie of the Week after completing 22-of-30 passes for 215 yards and two TDs in a 16-14, Week 10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. If Nix keeps improving, he could become the franchise QB the Broncos have desperately needed for nearly a decade. Since Hall of Famer Peyton Manning retired in 2016, the Broncos have had 14 starting QBs, including Nix.

Nix's progress should give the franchise reasons for optimism..
