FARGO — North Dakota State senior quarterback Cam Miller threw four touchdowns in the first half to help spark the Bison to a 59-21 victory against Missouri State on Saturday in Missouri Valley Football Conference play at the Fargodome. The Bison (10-1, 7-0 MVFC) have won 10 consecutive games and clinched at least a share of the conference championship with one game remaining in the regular season. NDSU plays next Saturday at the University of South Dakota.
The Bison can win the league title outright with a victory against the Coyotes. NDSU running back Barika Kpeenu had a big game against Missouri State, rushing for a career-high 169 yards and two touchdowns on 10 attempts. The Bison rushed for 364 and three touchdowns on 38 attempts.
Running back Marty Brown rushed for 113 yards and one TD on 14 attempts. The Bison scored touchdowns on seven of their first eight drives against the Bears on senior day. NDSU honored 25 seniors prior to game.
