However, they have a good chance to record their first win this coming Monday against the Washington Commanders who are 1-1 so far. They lost the game 16-10, with their superstar quarterback Joe Burrow throwing for zero TDs. He did much better in Week 2, but his output wasn’t enough to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. But then again, losing to the winners of the last two Super Bowls isn’t too big a deal, especially not given that the Bengals lost by just one point – the final score was 26:25 for the Chiefs.
Burrow went 23-for-36 in that game, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. Both of his TD passes were caught by Cincy’s second-year wide receiver Andrei Iosivas. Born in Japan to a Filipino mother and Romanian father, the WR seems to be having the season of his life.
