A Warrenville woman has died after being struck by a train earlier this week near Anthony Drive. Alyssa Brown, 31, was hit by a Norfolk Southern Railroad train around 3:25 a.m.
on April 2, according to Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables. She was transported to Wellstar MCG, where she died from her injuries at 1:38 p.m.
on Friday, April 4, Ables said. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Newberry. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
