Warm and windy week in store for Killeen

The Killeen-Fort Cavazos area is in “a bit of a dry period,” according to Meteorologist Matt Bishop with the National Weather Service, “and things are beginning to blossom.” Throughout the area, small white and red buds can be seen popping out against the stark gray sticks of the other landscape. This warmer pattern has started an early spring, coinciding with spring break many schools have scheduled for this week, as well.
