Walter Clayton Jr. showed the kindness embedded in his heart on Monday night. Florida had just won the national championship in thrilling, 65-63 fashion over Houston.
And Clayton, the Gators superstar, showed empathy. He sought out Houston's Emanuel Sharp, who had the game-deciding turnover and was struggling to get up off the floor. Clayton wrapped his arms around Sharp and offered a few words of encouragement.
