A Walsall bus shelter obliterated in a car crash is set to be replaced. Transport for West Midlands has confirmed the replacement shelter will be installed at the Walker Road stop, located near the Well Lane and Chaucer Road junction in Blakenall. Residents have been without the shelter after a car ploughed into it on the evening of September 19.

The stop was completely destroyed and a resident’s wall was also damaged as the vehicle crashed into it, bringing it to a stop.
