A Walmart employee has taken to TikTok to vent his frustration after a customer insisted he scan her items at the self-checkout. The user, known as Chris (@bigbossdbz), shared his experience with his followers, stating: "Hi guys. Let's get one thing straight here.
Self is basically to self check yourself out, OK? We don't do it for you. But the thing is, I will show you it's done. If you don't want to learn it, go to a cash register.
" He explained that a customer had asked him to scan her groceries, to which he replied: "I had a customer earlier come up and say, 'Hey, can you scan my groceries for me? ' And I said, 'No, ma'am. But I will be more than happy to teach you and show you how self-check works.' " This incident occurred shortly after another Walmart customer took to social media to express their annoyance with a faulty shopping cart.
Anthropologie offering an extra 40% off sale including sweaters, home decor, and gifts Echo Pop, Fire Stick, and Ring Doorbell now discounted in surprise Amazon sale ahead of Christmas The frustrated shopper even attempted to fix the cart themselves using WD-40 from the store shelves. Other users chimed in with their own experiences, with one suggesting: "There should always be an open can on the shelf like this- designated for all of us cursed with the squeaky cart." While it may seem that carts with dodgy wheels are caused by wear and tear, another factor reportedly causing the issue is environmental.
This explains why you often see Walmart employees pushing grocery carts back into the store. It helps prevent them from being damaged by the weather and from being stolen. Heavy rain and snow can have a significantly adverse effect on the materials used to make carts, reports the Irish Star .
