Shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) will be in spotlight on Thursday after the company reported a strong performance for the March quarter, with its consolidated net profit rising nearly 83% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 93.76 crore, compared to Rs 51.31 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations surged 74% YoY to Rs 476 crore from Rs 273 crore in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, the company’s EBITDA rose 68% YoY to Rs 126 crore as compared to Rs 75 crore in in the same period last year.“We are pleased to report a revenue of Rs 1,597.

In addition to the financial results, WRTL’s board approved several key appointments–Sudhir Arya was named Additional (Non-Executive, Independent) Director, effective April 16, 2025; Sunil Rathi’s designation was changed from Non-Executive Director to Executive Director, effective the same date, with terms to be finalized by the board; Manmohan Sharma was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, also effective April 16, 2025.WRTL is a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector.
