SHREVEPORT, La. - This Election Day, voters across Louisiana decided on constitutional amendments. They all failed.

Three of them represented changes to Louisiana's judicial system, criminal justice, and election management. One of the amendments was designed to amend part of the state's tax code. Constitutional Amendment 1 failed 64% to 36%.

It would have allowed the Legislature to create specialized courts outside of geographic boundaries and would give the Supreme Court additional oversight over out-of-state attorneys working here. Constitutional Amendment 2 failed 64% to 36%. It would have enacted sweeping changes to Article VII of the state constitution, which outlines the tax code.

Constitutional Amendment 3 failed 66% to 34%. It would have changed how the state prosecutes minors under 17 as adults for crimes. Constitutional Amendment 4 failed 63% to 37%.

It would have adjusted the deadline for filling judicial positions. Click here for the very latest election results as they come in..
