Amyri said that her partnership with Samaritans Feet International can result in giving hope to thousands of people through shoe distributions.

Amyri Robinson has to raise the funds needed to have shoe distributions. Her goal is to raise $100,000 to give 4,000 Louisianans a new pair of shoes and a message of hope. Amyri said she was inspired to work with Samaritans Feet after her parents, Willie Robinson and Marquita Robinson, took part in a shoe distribution with the agency.

They shared with her the experience and how it impacted them and that touched her heart, she said. They mentioned ambassador Kathy Slyder, of Samaritans Feet, loves and coached volleyball. That experience led to Amyri accepting an offer from Samaritans Feet International as an NIL ambassador student-athlete.

Amyri's parents set up the meeting via Zoom and Slyder talked with her about the agency. "So here we are serving people in our community," Amyri said. To donate and help Amyri reach her goal, visit samaritansfeet-bloom.
